Volunteer opportunities
Support mentor: We are a listening service that provides emotional support for survivors of sexual trauma. We respond to disclosures of sexual trauma. We work in groups and on a rotating basis. You would work between the hours of 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. per shift with another support mentor, with whom you would share the role. You would be responsible for providing emotional support to survivors of sexual trauma, as well as listening to and responding to them in a compassionate and nonjudgmental manner!
Content creators: The media team reflect our brand and ethos! You will be expected to post once per week in a one-hour period, usually at 6 p.m., and share it on your personal social media accounts to increase engagement for Say it Loud. As a content creator for Say it Loud, the role will consist of producing creative and informative posts on a variety of topics related to sexual violence. As such, it is essential to have a good understanding of the subject matter as well as being able to express this knowledge in an interesting and engaging way.
