nOLA
Support mentor
Hi, I’m Nola. I’m 23 years old based in London. I’ve just graduated from Bath Spa university upon completing my Masters in Criminology and Criminal Justice. I’m an intersectional feminist scholarly who specialises in Sexual Violence and Domestic Abuse. As a fellow survivor I understand how difficult it can be to navigate life afterwards. When discovering Say it Loud I connected deeply with their ethos and I’m working incredibly hard to create a safe space for survivors within the CJS and within society.

Hi everyone I’m Siobhan! Im 22 and currently studying towards BSc Forensic Psychology! I am passionate about helping other survivors as one myself as I know how incredibly difficult and lonely it can feel at times.I am grateful to be apart of such an amazing team who help those who need a safe space. I am hoping to start my ISVA training once I finish my degree and will always continue to help victims/survivors until the justice system improves.

Hey I’m Mia and I am support mentor for Say It Loud. I am extremely proud to be part of a team who’s main aim is to educate and support individuals about sexual violence. It is really important to listen and to provide a safe, confidential place for victims. I aim to be able to guide and support many others through their difficult times.

Hi my name is Jade and I am a support mentor for Say It Loud and a third year Psychology student at Oxford Brookes. I joined Say It Loud because I want to help survivors of sexual violence and listen to those who need support. I have training in disclosures of sexual violence and I want to provide a safe and supportive space. I am pleased to be part of such a rewarding team to end the stigmas surrounding sexual violence and victim blaming.

Hi, I’m Meg and I’m one of the new Support Mentors for Say It Loud. I’m a second year Psychology student at the University of York from South Wales. I am very excited to be part of a team working for such an important cause, and believe that as spiking incidents continue to rise, it is more vital than ever for individuals to have a safe space to feel heard. I am also very passionate about raising awareness regarding consent and the effects of sexual trauma, something I am also trying to achieve through my work with the Feminist Society.

Hi! My name is Dione, and I am a Support Mentor for Say It Loud. I have just finished my BSc (Hons) degree in Psychology at the University of Winchester, and I am continuing onto an MSc in Applied Criminology in September. After discovering the Say It Loud page on Instagram and seeing the crucial differences they make to people’s lives, I wanted to join the team. I believe it is important to provide a safe space for anyone who has been affected by sexual violence and raise awareness on the prevalence and stigmas surrounding rape culture. I am so grateful to be able to provide my support for this amazing movement.

Tara
Support Mentor
Hey, I’m Tara and I’m a support mentor at Say it Loud. I’m about to go into my second year studying Psychology at the University of York. I’m so grateful and proud to be joining the Say it Loud team and assisting with the amazing work that they do. I have received training from them on responding to disclosures of sexual violence, and I am very passionate about using this to support survivors. Sexual violence and rape culture is a massive problem, and I want to help others realise that they are not alone, and to create a safe space where anyone can reach out for help if they feel they need it.

Freya
Support Mentor
Hi I’m Freya! I am currently in my second year at university studying Psychology and Criminology. I joined the Say it Loud team after discovering them through social media after experiencing a life-changing encounter myself and they have helped me so much! So I felt this would be a great position for me to help the fight against sexual and domestic violence as well as the misogyny which still resonates through our society - something I have always been extremely passionate about. Ending the stigmas in rape culture is something of huge importance and Say it Loud is helping us to do that everyday. I am here to help in any way that I can with victims/survivors and I am privileged to be able to be part of this amazing movement!
